Speaker: Mike Fauzy Topic: Defense Against the Dark Arts: Defending Against Input Manipulation Attacks In the SDLC What would happen if an attacker could execute arbitrary SQL in your database or slip their own JavaScript into your client’s browser? (Very bad.) What would happen if an attacker controlled your server-side object-references? (Certainly not good.) You would never let an attacker do that intentionally, but often, that is exactly what attackers can do simply by manipulating input parameters. We will discuss how the attackers do it and how you can adjust both your code and your SDLC to defend your applications cheaper and more effectively.
